Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash

Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash
Pink Grapefruit Foaming scrub
On sale $6.99

Right now on FaceBook Neutrogena is doing an awesome donation to an organization, Global Giving. For every purchase of this pink grapefruit line they are donating $1 to this organization. Click the link above to learn more.

I am down to the last little bit of my bottle. I purchased it about 2 months ago and have about a week left of product. I wash my face twice a day so for 6.7 oz, is pretty good. I probably could have stretched it out if I was a little more sparing with the amount I used each time. This stuff smells great, if you like grapefruit. It is fresh, and clean smelling. On top of the great smell it has micro beads that help exfoliate each time you wash, which for some will eliminate one step from their skin care routine. It left my skin feeling clean and helped fight black heads as well. ( Which I am prone too.) This product was a little drying when I actually scrubbed my face for the proper amount of time. A little bit of lotion afterward took care of that problem. I do not recommend this product for people with sensitive skin as it has the micro beads and is drying.

Comparing the Pink Grapefruit scrub to my normal Dermalogica Medi-Bac cleanser, there is only a few differences. The price for one is a big one. The Dermalogica seems to keep my face feeling softer longer and gets rid of all of the little bumps on my forehead. The Pink grapefruit seems to keep my face free from oils longer, but doesn't keep ALL of the bumps from showing up on my face.

This face wash is definitely a great alternative to the higher priced face cleansers. I had to try it, I was running out of my Dermalogica and with the economy the way it is I need to save any way I can, but not cheat my skin of the proper care. I think I will pick up the cream cleanser in the same pink grapefruit formula for night time wash to go along with the clear foaming wash. I have heard that using a cream cleanser at night and a clear cleanser in the morning helps even out combination skin... Which I have.

Hope this review has been helpful, and remember to go to the link above to buy it which automatically donates $1 from the purchase to a good cause.

CG LashBlast Fusion

CG Lash Blast Fusion
.44fluid oz liquid
$9.99 @ Walgreens Colors: Brown, Brown Black, Black, Very Black

I have been searching for the best mascara for me for a couple months. I tried CG Lash Blast Volume, Lash Blast Length, Mega Volume Lash Blast, Maybelline Define-A-Lash Lengthening, Maybelline Define-A-Lash Volume, Urban decay Volume, Sephora Volume... Whew!

I know I haven't tested even 5% of what is out there b
ut I have to live on a budget and I finally found my match.Cover Girl Lash Blast Fusion adds length and volume to my thin short lashes that don't curl even a bit on their own. This Mascara fits into my budget at $9.99. I seem to be getting a good amount of usage from it. I didn't know this a couple months ago but, did you know that you should change your mascara every three months like an oil change on your car? Ha ha Well I didn't and started noticing my mascara getting clumpy on application and just not flowing onto my lashes right. Lash Blast Fusion has been gliding on and clump free for about Three months and I don't see it showing signs of wear yet.The spooley is pretty awesome. It is a rubbery, fat, thinly spaced, spiky wand. Easy to use. I love this product and recommend it highly if you are looking into getting one of those expensive eyelash growth serums. Great cheater for that problem.

NEW MAC!!! YAY, so in trouble when the husband finds out, but Shhh, I won't tell if you don't! I am slowly building up my MAC collection (and Macy's card!) When I heard department store MAC counters started carrying pigments I had to take a peek, and buy one..., and a shadow to go with it..., and that blush brush I'd been eying...

MAC Greensmoke
Tarnished Olive
.05 oz $14.50
It looks pewter in the picture, IRL it is a deep smokey green with a slight shimmer to it. Texture is very smooth, and pigment is a little on the lighter side. It isn't as pigmented as I hoped but with a couple layers and blending I got the smokey green effect I was desiring.

Old Gold Pigment
High frosted tarnished gold
.15 oz $19.50
The flash from the camera captures it's coppery gold side that screams glam, what you don't see is the tarnished green tint on it's flip side. Such a beautiful color that says I'm super glam but I've been here a while.

Ouph! Hefty price for a fluffy blush brush. It took a lot of convincing and arm twisting to bring myself to buy it. I'm pretty convincing! It has a fluffy medium size, round, dome, tip. It's a very workable blush brush for all colors and shades. I really love it's ability to bronze the high plains of my face just right. The bristles are soft and packed tightly so it has good substance to it. No regrets, eagerly welcomed into my collection.
