Right now on FaceBook Neutrogena is doing an awesome donation to an organization, Global Giving. For every purchase of this pink grapefruit line they are donating $1 to this organization. Click the link above to learn more.

I am down to the last little bit of my bottle. I purchased it about 2 months ago and have about a week left of product. I wash my face twice a day so for 6.7 oz, is pretty good. I probably could have stretched it out if I was a little more sparing with the amount I used each time. This stuff smells great, if you like grapefruit. It is fresh, and clean smelling. On top of the great smell it has micro beads that help exfoliate each time you wash, which for some will eliminate one step from their skin care routine. It left my skin feeling clean and helped fight black heads as well. ( Which I am prone too.) This product was a little drying when I actually scrubbed my face for the proper amount of time. A little bit of lotion afterward took care of that problem. I do not recommend this product for people with sensitive skin as it has the micro beads and is drying.

Comparing the Pink Grapefruit scrub to my normal Dermalogica Medi-Bac cleanser, there is only a few differences. The price for one is a big one. The Dermalogica seems to keep my face feeling softer longer and gets rid of all of the little bumps on my forehead. The Pink grapefruit seems to keep my face free from oils longer, but doesn't keep ALL of the bumps from showing up on my face.

This face wash is definitely a great alternative to the higher priced face cleansers. I had to try it, I was running out of my Dermalogica and with the economy the way it is I need to save any way I can, but not cheat my skin of the proper care. I think I will pick up the cream cleanser in the same pink grapefruit formula for night time wash to go along with the clear foaming wash. I have heard that using a cream cleanser at night and a clear cleanser in the morning helps even out combination skin... Which I have.

Hope this review has been helpful, and remember to go to the link above to buy it which automatically donates $1 from the purchase to a good cause.

  1. I love this too. They have the pink grapefruit in the regular face wash too. It lasts longer, and I was using the scrub at night and the face wash in the morning cuz my skin's a little sensitive.

  2. Thanks, I have seen the regular face wash in drugstores. I got mine while trying to get out of Costco with minimal "Extras". It just happened to be a two pack for $10.99 of the 7.6 oz, bottles (GREAT DEAL) sitting right next to the check out lines... evil...I knew I couldn't pass it up since it had an amazing price and I was almost out of my Dermalogica.
